The marquee, which is the most superior of all the tents at the Launceston Cup, has once again sold out, with 450 people set to mingle, relax and watch the races from inside its 60x30 metre area.
The marquee is based on the successful Emirates marquee at the Melbourne Cup and, on top of its usual set up, has added touches of gold to fit with the 150th cup celebrations and also a make-up tent at its rear.
Women wanting to freshen up throughout the day will be able to pop into the Mineral Xfactor tent for touch ups.
Country Club Tasmania's sales and marketing manager Bede Clifton said the marquee was about giving guests that VIP customer experience.
``The Launceston Cup is the shining star of Launceston and we want to make sure our interstate guests get the best experience possible,'' Mr Clifton said.
The Living Room has decked out the marquee and, as well as enjoying the couches, guests will be able to enjoy free food, all made with Tasmanian produce, along with wine, beer and cider.
They will also be able to have fun in the photo booth, meet state politicians, interstate celebrities and have a dance to local DJs from 3pm.
A balcony overlooking the picnic areas and the racecourse is at the front of the marquee and a betting facility is also inside.
The marquee is for invited guests only and will open at midday.FACT FILE
