Miss Universe Australia national director Deborah Miller said each of the 24 entrants had been of a high calibre.
The two winners ``shone'', she said.
``They answered questions well, they had a healthy image - the other states better watch out,'' Ms Miller said.
The national competition will be held in Melbourne on June 6.
