He runs a business consultancy specialising in strategic advice, communication, and negotiating techniques, is a regular commentator on current affairs, and produces the public policy newsletter ‘In Support of Progress’. He authored the 2011 report ‘Tasmania – Constraints and Opportunities’.
Julian is a Board member of the Glenorchy Football Club, and is engaged in the negotiations involving the redevelopment of the KGV precinct.
He has a doctorate in Life Sciences from the University of Tasmania.
