Bob wants to build the Tasmanian economy. His experience in forestry, business and finance means he has a lot to offer in getting Tasmania really moving so Tasmanian can have a stronger and better future.
Bob Gordon has been a member of the Labor Party for 35 years and completed BSc (Forestry) at the Australian National University in 1977
Bob started working in the forestry industry in 1978 and finished as Managing Director of Forestry Tasmania in 2013.
He is also a former President and Life Member of the CPSU (Tasmanian Public Service Association)
Bob Gordon has previously held the position of Board Chair of Savings and Loans, and Connect Financial, and is currently a Board Director of MyState, The Rock, and Tas Perpetual.
Bob Gordon is actively involved in community & sporting groups and is a former Director of Football Federation Tasmania.
Bob has been married for 35 years and has four children Bob Gordon also helps manage a small family farm (130 acres) at Nubeena on the Tasman Peninsula.
