On her way out a short time ago, Ms Giddings declared Labor could ''absolutely'' win the election.
She said she was looking forward to what will be a hard-fought election campaign.
For the remaining 31 days until Tasmanians go to the polls, the Premier must consult alternative premier Will Hodgman on any important decisions.
