PUP state leader Kevin Morgan will be joined by retired police officer and Waratah-Wynyard councillor Kevin Deakin, business owner Steven Green, operations manager in civil industry Julian Brown and mechanical engineer Scott Alexander.
“The Palmer United Party is committed to bringing an end to the years of neglect that Tasmania has suffered at the hands of Labor and the Greens both in Braddon and right across Tasmania," Mr Morgan said at the announcement this morning.
“Tasmania needs a new vision and real leadership and only the Palmer United Party can make a difference in Tasmania.”
The party's federal leader, Clive Palmer, said he was confident Mr Morgan and his fellow Braddon candidates will be successful at the March poll.
“Tasmania has suffered for too long and the Palmer Unity Party and our high quality Tasmanian candidates can put the state back on the map,” Mr Palmer said.
PUP will announce its remaining Tasmanian election candidates throughout the week.
