Daniel William George Ponting, 30, appeared in Launceston Magistrates Court this morning.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated burglary, two counts of stealing and dishonestly acquiring a financial advantage along with minor drug matters.
Ponting broke in to two homes at Invermay last year stealing a number of items.
Magistrate Reg Marron sentenced him to five months prison backdated to November,
