George Town thronged with lots of folk

MUSIC is just one of the things livening up George Town this weekend as part of the Tamar Valley Folk Festival.

The festival started on Friday and continued yesterday with Music in the Street, children's entertainment, a flamenco dance performance, fun in the kitchen for kids and more.

Celebrations will continue from 8am today and include a Poet's Breakfast in the Memorial Hall supper room, a Sing a Song for Ireland at the York Cove Centre at 10am and folk session at The Pier Hotel in the evening to wrap up the event.

This is the 23rd year that the festival has been held in George Town.
