Sixteen drivers have entered including 2013 state champions Daimon Shelton (clubman Light) and Zane Wyatt (Leopard Light).
Launceston's Jamie Bricknell, fresh from his Tasmanian Title win in Sprintcars, will also be competing in what should be one of the most fiercely contested races seen.
Father and son duo Scott and Steven Wrigley will also be at the pointy end, together with a host of LKC members also entered including Alastair Lee, Troy Stone, Aiden Shelton, and Jonathan Males.
Coastal drivers Jade Waddington and Jake Rice will be another two who will take it up to the locals.
Racing will start at 1pm with a barbecue and entertainment from local musician Marty Kooistra being held at the tea break and all finals to be run in the twilight session between 6.30 and 8pm.
A full field of over 75 drivers has entered the support classes, including cadets, rookies, juniors, senior national, senior clubman and tag restricted light and heavy.
