NTCA Twenty20 champion South Launceston and TCL premier Trevallyn both had comfortable victories in their Cricket Tasmania statewide T20 knockout competition yesterday.

South easily accounted for Northern Midlands premier Evandale recording an eight-wicket victory in its contest at Morven Park.
A six-wicket haul to Warwick Johnson and a smashing knock of 75 from Mackenzie Barker helped the Knights to progress to the next round of the knockout competition.
Evandale made 123, all out from its 20 overs, with Danny Bennett top scoring with 47, off 40 balls, with six fours and a six.
Dylan Schnoor made 27, from 29 balls and Sam Graham finished 12 not out.
Johnson was the main destroyer for South picking up the excellent figures of 6-9, off his four overs.
Ben Austen took 2-28 and Rafe Payne 2-41.
South was in early trouble in its run chase losing two early wickets to be 2-14, until Cody Weedon and Barker combined in a 113-run partnership to see it home for an easy victory.
Barker belted 75 not out off 53 balls with 10 fours and two sixes and Weedon hit 34 not out with four boundaries and a six.
Graham was the only successful bowler for Evandale picking up 2-32.
Meanwhile, TCL T20 premier Trevallyn also had an eight-wicket victory against Don in their game at Trevallyn thanks to some big hitting by captain Shannon Rumbel.
Don made 4-166, after winning the toss and batting, with Brett Collins top scoring with 59 and Brett Crowden making 46.
Trevallyn chased down the total finishing at 2-169, with Rumbel smashing 77 from 24 balls with eight fours and seven sixes.
His 50 came off 15 balls.
Michael Hall finished 43 not out off 26 balls and Anton Balym 32 not out, off 29.
