FIVE Northern cricketers will head to Adelaide tomorrow as part of the state under-17 cricket team to contest the national championships.

North Hobart cricketer Caleb Jewell will captain the state side, with Smith acting as his vice-captain.

It will be the second state representation this year for Smith who was also picked in the state under-19 team which played in the national championships in Hobart last month.
