The blaze, at 42 Ryton Street, was reported at 12.20am.
The fire destroyed a shed, vehicle and contents.
Fire investigators will examine the scene today.
Police urge anyone with information about the blaze to call their local police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
