Northern Force won the toss and batted first and was all out for 177, from 49.4 overs.
Oliver Wood top scored with a great knock of 76, while Jarrod Freeman made 21 and Kyle Lanham20.
Best-performed of the Bulldog Academy bowlers was Ashane De Silva, who finished with figures of 3-25 from 10 overs and Connor Wall, who took 2-46 from 9.4 overs.
The Academy was all out for 115, off 48.4 overs, in reply.
Major contributors with the bat were opener Ben Wardle with 27 and Brayden Schibeci with 17.
Best bowlers for Northern Force were Jarrod Freeman with 2-12, from 10 overs, and Noah Meis, who took 3-19 from 8.4 overs.
The second game at Invermay Park was between Southern Storm and the North-West Lightning.
Southern Storm batted first and was all out for 110, from 43.1 overs.
Caiden Workman made 26 and Josh Harris hit 20.
Jacob Webb finished with figures of 3-7, off five overs, for the North-West, Oliver Fryett took 2-14, from five overs, and Brodie Hayes, 2-17, from 9.1 overs.
In reply, North-West Lightning was all out for 95, off 45.3 overs.
Pearce Watling made 31 and James Odgers 10.
The best of the Southern Storm bowlers was Jack white with an impressive 4-6 from 10 overs and Lachlan Clifford with 3-15 from his 10.
Today's matches will see the final played between Southern Storm and the Northern Force at Invermay Park from 10am, while North-West Lightning will play Bulldog Academy in the consolation final at Grammar at 9am.
