Noughties fashion makes comeback

CROP tops, oversized shorts and flares are flying off the shelves of vintage store and cafe Nanna's as the fashion of the noughties makes a resurgence.

``Fashion from the early 2000s is on TV, so I expect a lot of trends will follow,'' store owner Matt Labedzki said.

He said clothing from the '80s continued to be the Launceston shop's most popular seller, followed by vintage aprons, pin-up-style dresses and people looking for costumes.

``We frequent Melbourne and buy stuff there, then ship it back to ourselves,'' Mr Labedzki said.

``The biggest issue is sizing.

``Make sure you try items on or know your measurements.''
