A MAN sustained non-life-threatening injuries after a two-car crash on the East Tamar Highway today.

Both cars were exiting the Mowbray Connector and trying to enter the highway when the crash occurred about 9.50am.

The second car, which was travelling at a faster speed, rear-ended the car in front of it, which was travelling at a slower speed.

Paramedics drove one man to the Launceston General Hospital in a stable condition.

Launceston Sergeant Darren Hill said driver inattention was a factor in the crash.
