The Prospect resident said that the event, to be held at Aurora Stadium on January 19, had gone from strength to strength for more than 20 years.
"We're expecting a pretty good turn out by the Mustang Club, probably in excess of 50, but it can depend on the weather we get on the day," he said.
"All the rod clubs will be represented and lots of Aussie muscle cars - we're expecting quite a lot of Harley-Davidsons too, but again, it depends a lot on the weather.
"Mind you, it's never been washed out yet."
Mr White will take his 1934 Plymouth hot rod to the festival.
"I built it myself, in the garage," he said proudly of his latest creation, powered by a 350 small-block Chevrolet V8.
Entry costs $10 for adults, with children under-14 free. Free entry available to everyone who brings a vehicle for display.
The day will also feature a rockabilly band, rock and roll music, 1950s and 60s pin-up girl competition and dancing.
