Thorne will play in Launceston, at the Cygnet Folk Festival, Devonport, Hobart and Deloraine from January 9 to 25.
Her 2014 tour comes on the back of a highly successful year for Thorne, whose split Love Over Gold release with American singer-songwriter Pieta Brown has resulted in her first tour of the US.
``It's exciting, it's all gone really well, it's been a bit of fun and I feel a tiny bit exhausted now that I've stopped - 2013 was a big one for Lucie Thorne,'' she said.
``It's pretty much the best job in the world, as far as I can work out.''
Thorne said her Cygnet and Launceston shows would be duet shows with drummer Hamish Stuart.
``Hamish and I have made a couple of records together, we'll be playing off those,'' she said.
``There's lots of new things I'm keen to try out as well, some as-yet untested material and a bit from the back catalogue.''
Thorne will play Fresh on Thursday, January 9.
