The business's commitment to communication was one of the reasons the business received a Business Excellence Award for exceptional workplaces in October. Practice manager Cecily Igglesden said the Prospect practice was thrilled to receive the award.
"It is a wonderful tribute to our team of doctors, nurses, receptionists and allied health professional and the work they do," she said.
"We are very fortunate to have a team that supports our business and just as importantly supports each other which contributes greatly to a positive business culture and to the business being able to change and develop."
Dr John Ballantyne said the practice had a good culture.
"We all work together as a team," he said.
Prospect Medical Centre has a team including 10 general practitioners, a skin specialist, clinical psychologist, dietician, diabetes educator, physiotherapist, mental health nurse and podiatrist.
Staff are supported by experienced nurses and administration staff.
The business will expand to Trevallyn early next year.
