Tasmania's unemployment rate has fallen for the fourth straight month - despite the number of people in work continuing to decline - this time by further 300 positions.

The number of people in full-time employment was steady at 144,800 people in November.
It is the fourth consecutive fall in the state's jobless rate since it hit a high of 8.3 per cent in July. However, the number of people out of work has continued to increase during that time - from 230,000 totally employed to 228,500 last month.
The state's economy has now shed 4400 jobs since November last year - and 8400 since November 2010.
