Opposition Leader Will Hodgman announced treasury spokesman Peter Gutwein and education spokesman Michael Ferguson would recontest their seats and would be joined by long-time Dorset Mayor Barry Jarvis, recent federal Senate candidate Sarah Courtney and Launceston Preparatory School principal Leonie McNair.
Mr Hodgman described the team of candidates for Bass as one of the best they'd had in a long time and they were energised, committed, unified and disciplined.
``These people are very much part of the push to give Tasmania what it needs and deserves,'' he said.
