North-West detectives will today be conducting a number of searches in relation to the murder investigation of a man at the Marrawah Tavern in July.
Detective Inspector Rob Gunton said that investigations into the murder of Simon Crisp at the tavern in the early hours of Saturday, July 13, remain ongoing.
Detective Inspector Gunton said detectives, uniform police, police canine units and forensic services will be conducting searches of addresses in the Smithton, Edith Creek and Roger River area today.
“Today's operations pertain to a specific line of enquiry identified during the course of the investigation,'' Detective Inspector Gunton said.
"These premises relate to persons of interest in relation to the murder of Mr Crisp.
"It is expected that police operations in the area will continue late into the evening and will involve extensive and detailed forensic examinations."
