MORE than 6000 people poured through the Communities for Children Expo in Launceston today.
The free Anglicare Tasmania-organised event was in the Albert Hall and spread out into City Park.
Entertainment including live music, stilt-walkers, jumping castles, face-painting, street art and circus activities kept children and their families busy.
Co-organiser Lisa Mies said it was the fifth Children's Expo.
''We have more than 50 exhibitors here,'' she said.
''People come because it's a real family event where there's something for kids from birth to 12 years old.
''And it's free, to be available to all.
''We are really thrilled to get such great community support.''
