A man accused of shooting a teenager in Launceston's York Street has pleaded not guilty to wounding.
Damien Wesley Marshall, of Newnham, appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court yesterday.
The wounding charge relates to a 19-year-old bystander allegedly shot by Mr Marshall in the leg on July 29.
Mr Marshall has also pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault by shooting at another man, Robert Williams, on the same day.
Mr Marshall, 30, first appeared on the matters in an out-of-hours session of the Launceston Magistrates Court on October 4.
Yesterday Magistrate Simon Brown committed him to stand trial in the Supreme Court in Launceston for both matters.
Mr Marshall was remanded on bail to appear in court on December 12.
