A 72-year-old man from Southern Tasmania has died in hospital today from injuries he sustained from a car crash earlier this month.
The Battery Point man was the passenger of a car being driven by a 71-year-old Battery Point woman when it hit a concrete culvert and crash on the Arthur Highway at Sorell.
The crash occured about 4.40pm on Saturday, October 5.
He was immediately flown to the Austin Hospital in Melbourne where he underwent surgery.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated and investigating officer Constable Adam Hall would like to hear from anyone who many have seen the crash or the car - a 2005 black Honda Civic - before the crash.
