SCAMPER the spoodle and Midnight the rabbit will make up part of the veritable menagerie set to gather at Carrick's St Andrew's Anglican Church tomorrow.
Market stalls, brass band music and, of course, the blessing of the pets will be held at the church grounds from 10am tomorrow.
Anglican Parish of Quamby church treasurer and warden Robert Menzie said the event, held each year in celebration of St Francis, would be a hive of activity.
"It's nice to have all the animals at the service," Mr Menzie said.
"We've had some interesting things in the past, one person came in with a bag of tadpoles to be blessed - we've also had horses and sheep come inside the church.
"It's a community bonding thing, we've been holding it every year for the past six or seven years."
One of Carrick's better-known characters will also be making an appearance on the day.
"I'm told the pub dog will be coming along," Mr Menzie said.
"It's quite a large dog, there's going to be a competition running to see who can guess how heavy it is - only one person knows its weight at this point."
The 15-minute blessing service will begin at 11am at the church grounds. Mr Menzie said everyone - and their pets - was invited to attend.
