Trolls have latched onto Labor backbencher Brenton Best's petition against deals with the Greens.
People using fake names such as "Goober McGooberhead" are among the 50 to sign the online petition.
"Dr Brent Loveshisgreens" added the comment ''nom nom nom" while the "Risdon Prison Inmates Collective" said "We preferred Kons" - a reference to former Tasmanian Attorney-General Steve Kons.
The Braddon MHA launched the petition on Monday night, without telling his Labor colleagues, urging all MPs to reject any power deals that give Greens control of the state.
''We have many untapped opportunities in Tasmania, it is a great place to live yet we continue to be hamstrung by selfish Green control on many important issues holding back jobs, investment and lifestyle,'' Mr Best writes in the petition preamble.
This morning, Premier Lara Giddings said Mr Best would have to abide by the decision of caucus in the event of another hung Parliament following the next state election.
