THE TASSIE Hawks plan to hit the state tomorrow after soaring to victory at yesterday's grand final.
Hawthorn president Andrew Newbold, coach Alastair Clarkson and a number of players will present the premiership cup at Hobart City Hall at 11.30am tomorrow.
The Hawks will hit Launceston's Aurora Stadium at 1pm and continue to Devonport for an afternoon in the mall.
Premier Lara Giddings yesterday congratulated the Hawks on their win.
``Tasmanians are proud of the strong partnership with the Hawthorn Football Club,'' Ms Giddings said.
``As well, the grand final has been beamed into tens of millions of households nationally and around the world, giving the Tasmanian brand massive exposure.''
Ms Giddings said she looked forward to welcoming the team to Tasmania to celebrate the win.
Ms Giddings said return on investment to Tasmania from the Hawks sponsorship had been estimated at about $15 million a year and created more than 400 full-time equivalent jobs.
