A man and a woman will face firearm, motor vehicle stealing and drugs charges following a police raid on a property at Swan Bay in the state's north yesterday.
Police searched the property on Windermere Road at Swan Bay and found a Holden Rodeo ute, which had allegedly been stolen from Rokeby earlier that morning.
They also allegedly found about 400 grams of methylamphetamine, two pistols and a .223 calibre rifle with ammunition and about $45,000 in cash.
A 31-year-old Swan Bay man and a 21-year-old Summerdale woman have been charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, motor vehicle stealing and firearms offences.
The man was remanded to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court today at 11.30am, while the woman was bailed to appear in November.
