Pro-logging protesters have clashed with Greens members arriving for the party's state conference in Hobart this morning.
Lyons MHA Tim Morris defended the Greens policies as welding and engineering business owner Mark Lesek and specialty timber industry representative George Harris blamed them for destroying the industry.
Tasmanian Greens Leader Nick McKim arrived with Australian Greens Leader Christine Milne, ignoring the protesters, who were removed by police.
Mr McKim has told the conference that he will be campaigning hard to win an historic second consecutive term holding the balance of power in Tasmania's lower house.
"We can hold our five seats. It will be a tough fight...but I'm here to tell you we are up for this, we are so up for this."
