QUEECHY High School will be chasing its first NHSSA seniors firsts premiership in 12 years today when it takes on Riverside High School at Aurora Stadium.
Coach Brendan Poke said his full-strength team was focused on the task at hand against the dangerous Riverside combination.
``But the challenge for both teams will be playing on the bigger ground that is Aurora, compared to school ovals,'' Poke said.
``But the boys are excited about that and we will give it our best shot.''
Poke said he was looking for Mitch Viney off half-back and his on-ball brigade, which is led by Jak Hadley and Luke Wheldon, to lead the charge.
He expected a close contest between the two sides, who Poke said were the two ``standout'' teams this year.
The teams have met twice this year, with each school winning one match.
Tomorrow's match will be played at 5pm, with the seniors thirds grand final between Riverside Maroon and St Pat's at 1pm, and the senior seconds decider at 3pm between Exeter and St Pat's.
The winner of the senior firsts final will contest next week's Tassie Hawks Cup against the best teams from the North-West and South of the state.
The match will be live streamed on www.nhssa.org.au/live.
