Police are investigating a suspicious fire at the old Brighton army barracks that caused about $100,000 damage.
Fire crews and police were called to the barracks on Menin Road, Brighton, about 8.25 last night.
One of the four buildings was totally destroyed by fire.
Other buildings on the site had been damaged, which police believe happened sometime in the last 10 days.
The privately owned property was unoccupied at the time.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or who may have seen suspicious activity at the old barracks to contact Bridgewater detectives on 6268 4106 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
