Lawyers will depose 37 witnesses in pre-trial proceedings for a Ravenswood double murder.
Marco Daniel Rusterholz, 49, of Goodwood, is alleged to have killed Angela Maree Hallam, 31, and Joshua Eric Newman, 21, on August 15 last year.
Mr Rusterholz, who has pleaded not guilty to both charges, appeared via video-link in the Supreme Court in Launceston today.
Justice Robert Peace approved the preliminary proceedings application lodged by defence counsel Evan Hughes.
Mr Rusterholz's co-accused, South Australian man David Ronald Morgan, 54, also appeared via video-link charged with conspiracy to murder Ms Hallam.
Both will appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court on December 9 for the proceedings.
