HILLWOOD will try to avoid a straight-sets exit from this year's NTFA division 1 finals series when it meets George Town in the cut-throat elimination final at Youngtown on Sunday.
The Sharks finished second on the ladder and will look to rebound from last week's qualifying final loss to Bridgenorth.
"We need to regroup - we've assessed a few things we believe we were deficient in last week and we're confident going into this weekend," Hillwood president Rod Green said.
"Last week's conditions were reasonably heavy so we're quite happy going into this game because we believe we can rectify some downfalls from last week.
"We've got a few minor niggles like any side but I believe we have a full list to choose from and we're quite happy with the position we are in."
GEORGE TOWN will have gained confidence from its elimination final victory over Bracknell last week.
"It was a really good, tough game of footy which is what finals are all about," George Town coach Anthony Axton said.
Axton said the Sharks gave his team a "real touch-up" the last time they met at George Town and his side would have to make sure it did not allow them room to run and spread on the outside of contests.
"They love a fast track and are a dangerous side in good conditions," he said.
