THE Northern Tasmanian Junior Football Association held a successful grand final day at Aurora Stadium yesterday as the culmination of its 2013 season.
Teams played off for premierships in age groups from under 12s to under 16s.
``It's been a fantastic day, good games and a good crowd - the spirit has been good and everyone has had a good day,'' NTJFA president Dale Fraser said.
``We were lucky to get a good day weather-wise, and the final game in the under 16s was played under lights, which was a nice way to conclude the season.''
Six of the 11 NTJFA clubs were represented in the grand finals with honours shared for the day.
The NTJFA rosters involve more than 1200 junior footballers in its winter rosters.
GRAND FINAL RESULTS: Under 12s - Launceston 6.7 (43) d Longford 6.1 (37); Under 13s - Longford 8.4 (52) d Prospect Hawks 4.3 (27); Under 14s - South Launceston 8.7 (55) d Tamar Cats 5.4 (34).
