THE Northern Tasmanian Junior Football Association will hold its grand final day for competitions from under- 12s to under-16s at Aurora Stadium tomorrow.
The NTJFA caters for more than 1200 junior footballers each season.
Grand final day marks the culmination of rosters that started in April and will see six of the 11 NTJFA clubs represented.
"Last Sunday we had what we call our gala day for under 9s, 10s and 11s because they don't play for premiership points," NTJFA president Dale Fraser said.
"This weekend is our premiership competition for under-12s through to under-16s.
"We've got a good mix of clubs taking part with Longford having three teams in grand finals and Tamar represented as well as some city clubs."
Fraser said the NTJFA players looked forward to the opportunity to get out on Aurora Stadium for grand final matches each year.
"It's a good day and a great facility and they love it," he said.
"We get quite a lot of parents and grandparents come along and even last weekend when the weather was pretty ordinary we still had a good crowd there - and they keep coming all day with the different age groups."
The under-14 grand final between South Launceston and the Tamar Cats should be a really good game with both teams only having had one loss each for the season.
The under 16s is the oldest age group and the last game of the day, which will finish under lights.
Gates open at 8.45am, with admission $5 for adults and children under 16 admitted free.
