A collection of expressions from Hadspen artist Mat Carey have been splashed across the gallery's walls as part of his I+E= Reality exhibition.
``I+E= Reality is the conclusion to a project I have been working on over the past four
months,'' Carey said.
``Through completing artworks in different locations all around the same topics I have been studying the environments effect upon creative output.
``The imagery itself discusses the place where our own realities lie; at the intersection of our sensory information and our understanding through experience.''
The collection also features his own off-beat homage to Spanish surrealist Salvador Dali The Great Dali; Sublime Gangster, Genius and Drug.
Carey, a masters of contemporary arts student, recently returned from a residency and showing in Sicily and will curate Castle 1: The Gallery for the upcoming Streets Alive Urban Art Trail.
His work will be on display at Sawtooth ARI until Saturday, August 31.
