Two brothers have pleaded not guilty to charges relating to the shooting of a man in Rocherlea earlier this year. Robert Craig William and Stephen James Willams were refused bail in the Launceston Magistrates Court yesterday afternoon.
Their lawyer Adrian Hall entered pleas of not guilty on their behalf to grievous bodily harm and two counts of aggravated assault.
The shooting relates to an incident in May when a man was shot in the leg suffering a fractured femur.
Magistrate Simon Brown committed the Hillwood men to trial in the Supreme Court on October 14.
