ENTRIES close today for the annual Jolly Lette Memorial Endurance Ride.
Riders can enter the full 80-kilometre ride or shorter options of 40, 20 or five kilometres.
Event secretary Diana Carol, of Bangor, said the event would start and finish at Scottsdale's Santarena Park for the third year since moving back from Lebrina.
Horses can be vet checked on Friday from 3pm until dark or on Saturday from 5.30am.
Riders in the 80-kilometre event will leave at 7.30am, with the 40, 20 and five-kilometre riders leaving at 7.45am, 9am and 9.15am respectively.
Entry fees are $60, $40, $30 and $20 for each of the categories.
Ms Carol said riders crossed roads in places and asked motorists to be aware of posted signage and to treat riders with caution and consideration.
"The 80-kilometre ride will be done in two legs, with a vet check at the halfway point - all horses will be vet checked," she said.
Ms Carol will accept entries here or by calling 0437 803 751.
Springfield Pony Club will operate a canteen all day Saturday.
Tony Purton won last year's heavyweight category, Bradley Hill and sister Shannon crossed the line together to win the middleweight and junior categories, respectively, and Jen Clingley won the lightweight category.
