DEVONPORT City held on against Northern Rangers to secure a 4-3 win in the Victory League yesterday.
Adam Gorrie put the Strikers ahead in the opening four minutes and defender Kieran Mulraney got on the score sheet when he hit the back of the net in the 38th minute.
Rangers striker Shane Brassington made it 2-1 in the 43rd minute but Michael Holden responded on the stroke of half-time for Devonport to take a 3-1 lead into the break.
Nick Lanau-Atkinson gave the home side some hope when he scored two minutes after the restart but the Strikers scored again to keep its buffer.

The Sharks went 2-0 up in the first half before lazy defence allowed Rangers to reduce the margin to 2-1 before the break.
But the floodgates opened in the second half and the Sharks added six more with Kyrone Johnson (2), Ryan Liston (2), Jeremy de Bomford (1), Kaimon Johnson (1), Jimmy Nettleton (1) and Tyler Duniam (1) all getting on the scoresheet.
Somerset spokesman Sam Cocks attributed the title to a good squad that worked hard and gelled together well after losing a couple of players to Victory League and local Australian rules.
