About 80 St Patrick's students performed at Hobart's Derwent Entertainment Centre, winning the state open division and another 11 awards.
Student choreographer Kareen Duffy, 17, said they were most honoured to win the Spirit of the Rock Eisteddfod award.
``That was our favourite because we worked hard to involve everyone in everything we did and to be positive for the other schools,'' she said.
Kareen said they spent about five months putting together the performance, usually rehearsing twice a week.
``The best part for me was getting to work with people from every grade and just being involved in the creative process,'' she said.
A tape of their performance will now be sent across the country, so they can be considered for the national title.
