The Lady Blues led by 11 points after a tight first half, but kicked away in the second half to win 10.12 (72) to 4.5 (29).
''We kicked four goals to nothing in the third quarter,'' Launceston captain Amanda Sweeney said.
''We're notoriously slow starters and we were again, but we were a bit better today.
''As the game progressed we got better and everyone did their bit.''
Sweeney and Letitia Johnson were the multiple goalkickers for the Blues with two each.
Best players were Jenna Cousens across half-back, Angela Dickson on a wing, Tiara Foley at centre half-forward, Ashley Carey at centre half-back, Sweeney at full-forward and Ebony Lucas on a forward flank.
''We're 1-2 and have a twilight game against Hobart at Windsor Park on Saturday at 5pm and we should win that one,'' Sweeney said.
Burnie's best players were Jaime Bradley and Debra Allen, and they had four single goalkickers.
