A MAN has been charged in relation to a crash involving a Cancer Council mini-bus that left three people dead last year near Elizabeth Town.
The crash occurred as the Cancer Council Transport 2 Treatment bus was carrying 10 patients and carers back to the North-West after treatment at the W.P. Holman Clinic in Launceston.
Evelyn Lutwyche, 65, John Dickson, 69, and Dorothy Butters, 84, died following the crash.
The driver of another vehicle was charged with causing death by negligent driving, causing grievous bodily harm by negligent driving and three other traffic-related offences.
The man has been summonsed to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court on May 30.
