MORE than 2100 Meander Valley residents were left without power this morning.
Aurora Energy crews are now working to restore power to residents in Mole Creek, Chudleigh, Meander and parts of Deloraine.
A company spokesman said crews had to perform a more time-consuming method of power restoration as they otherwise would due to today's statewide fire ban.
He said power had been recently returned to 1300 Meander Valley residents.
The cause of the power fault is unknown.
