Police manhunt following car park robbery

Police have released a composite photo of a man they believe can help them in their investigation of the armed robbery of a youth in an Ulverstone car park last night.

According to detectives from Devonport Crime and Drug Investigation, a 17-year-old youth was robbed a knife-point  in the Coles car park near McDonalds yesterday at 8.45pm.

The person of interest is described as having a fair complexion and is about 185cm tall. He was wearing a dark hooded jumper and dark trousers. His fringe was covering his right eye and he has a thin jaw line.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw a group of males in the car park around the time of the incident. Police say one of the group produced a knife and demanded money from the victim.
