LAUNCESTON Kart Club drivers dominated the third round of the Tasmanian Series held at the Archerville Kartway at Turners Marsh over the weekend.
About 115 drivers took part in the two-day event with racing in 12 different classes.
The state series is run over four rounds at each of the state's karting venues.
Launceston's Freddy Cocca had an outstanding weekend winning all of his races and taking the title in the over-40 pro class.
Launceston Kart Club publicity officer Stuart Lee said Cocca qualified on pole by more than half a second and had a great tussle with Graham Hoar.
"Troy Stone won the clubman heavy title after sharing the wins with Mitchell Evans during the day," Lee said.
"Tayla Heath had a great battle with Brock Evans in the rookie class during the day but hung on to win and it was pretty close racing in all of the other divisions."
