THE annual event of Clean Up Australia Day will be held on Sunday around the nation.
However, the cubs are scheduling their clean-up for Monday evening, cub leader Tania Harland said.
``We will have about 25 cubs cleaning up Tailrace Park,'' Mrs Harland said.
``This is where our base is and we like to keep it tidy, plus it's a park for everyone to enjoy.''
Last year, more than 16,000 tonnes of rubbish was collected by about 591,400 volunteers from 7363 clean-up sites across Australia.
