No miracle for Tigers

There was no fairy  tale finish for Tasmania in its Sheffield Shield contest with Western Australia at the WACA, with the Warroirs getting the required six runs in the second over of the day.

Tailender Burt Cockley got his team home, getting the required runs off the bowling of Ben Hilfenhaus and James Faulkner.

The Warriors' two wicket win was all the more remarkable considering they were bowled out for 97 in the first innings and were 5-137 at one stage of the winning target of 357.
