AN Invermay man who offered a stranger $10,000 to kill his estranged wife has been jailed for four years.
Darryl Scott Donohue, 41, appeared for sentencing in Launceston's Supreme Court this morning after he pleaded guilty yesterday to inciting to murder and stalking his wife last year.
Donohue was arrested in October last year after he was caught offering to pay a ``hitman'' $10,000 to kill his ex-wife.
He wanted his ex-wife dead so he could have custody of his their children
Donohue will be eligible for parole in two years.
