Police unable to revive crash driver

Police were unable to revive a man, who died atthe scene of a single-vehicle crash at Ulverstone this morning.

About 9am, police were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Leven Street, where a white Holden Commodore sedan had collided with a building.

With the help of witnesses, police performed CPR on the 41-year-old male driver until paramedics form Ambulance Tasmania arrived.

Unfortunately, he was not able to be revived.

A section of Leven Street was closed for a period of time while police conducted a scene examination and investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
