Opposition Leader Will Hodgman announced this morning that North-West farmer Leonie Hiscutt will contest the seat at the 2014 state election.
"Mrs Hiscutt is an outstanding candidate who lives in the electorate at Howth and who understands the issues facing the people of Montgomery," Mr Hodgman said.
Ms Hiscutt, who currently runs a farm and tourism venture with her husband, is a former board member of the Tasmanian Poppy Growers Association and the former Tasmanian director of Australian Women in Agriculture.
